Walk at Stone Town streets and follow the footsteps of famous rock star, Zanzibar’s born Freddie Mercury lead Singer of the rock band Queens skilled musician flamboyant showman born Zanzibar by given named of Farouk Bulsara on the 5th September 1946 in the Shangani street a year later after defeated of the Nazi German. Freddie Mercury spent his formative years living and playing in Zanzibar Stone Town Street's winding alley ways of the stone town.
His parents were Persian and said to be the only family practicing Zorostian religion that immigrated to Zanzibar from Indian founded more than 3000 years ago, believed to be the world's first meditating faith. 1964 he was sent to Bombay for he’s studies at boarding school, it was due to his head master that he discovered his musical talent. later he moved to England with his family after beginning of the politic unrest in Zanzibar, England were his transformation to his musical talents discovered and the new born of Freddie Mercury completed.
Unfortunately he never got a chance to perform in Zanzibar. The tour will take you back into his early age in Zanzibar show you the place his was born, street , beach and life surrounding him before he became Freddie Mercury.
